Ferodol is a range of effervescent paracetamol tablets available at leading pharmacies in Kenya. Ferodol 1000 contains 1000mg of Paracetamol BP per tablet. Ferodol Forte contains Paracetamol and Caffeine BP. Both dissolve completely in water before drinking, supporting faster absorption than ordinary solid tablets.
Ordinary tablets must dissolve in the stomach before absorption begins — this takes 15 to 30 minutes. Ferodol Forte contains paracetamol combined with caffeine, which acts as an analgesic adjuvant enhancing pain relief. It is particularly useful for tension headache and migraine, and is the only effervescent paracetamol-caffeine tablet available in Kenya.Derry CJ, Derry S, Moore RA. Ferodol 1000: 1 tablet (1000mg) every 4–6 hours. Maximum 4 tablets (4000mg) in 24 hours.

Ferodol Forte: 1 tablet every 4–6 hours. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours. Not recommended for persons sensitive to caffeine.
